Down on the Farm

Happy Birthday to my sweet, sweet Campbell on turning 2 last week.  We had her party Saturday and it was great!  So many family and friends came to wish her well.  She was so cute and she loved all the attention.  I designed an outfit specifically for her birthday party.  It was a farm/barn yard animal party.

All of the paper decorations came from 62cards and were adorable.

I have posted the new outfit "Down on the Farm" on my Facebook and Etsy shops (link in the top right corner of the page).  I hope everyone likes it.  Allow 1-2 weeks for delivery as of right now.  There are several different views of it because Campbell REALLY enjoys modeling these days.  She just randomly walks around the house and stops to smile and model whatever she is wearing.

I couldn't resist the last two pics.  She was so tired after the party.  She just curled up in her Daddy's lap and was out like a light.  Big Sister was already curled up in her bed.

Holiday Sickness

Okay, so everyone is getting sick!  First it was Campbell with a "fever virus" that was well into the 104 degree range.  The fever left on Sunday and now she starts coughing.  Meanwhile, Carter and I have a stomach ache that feels like the beginning of a virus.  And Brock is gone hunting for the next few days so at least he might dodge some of it.

I cannot believe Christmas is in 5 days!  I'm not finished shopping yet!!!!  I have one more order to finish up tonight and send out before Christmas.  Other than that, if you ordered, it will be after Christmas.  I simply can't get to it before then.

I have done most of my shopping online this year.  Amazon is always my friend at Christmas.  This year I tried to use Etsy as much as possible to help support my fellow crafters.  I found some really cute jewelry for the girls at www.butterflygem.etsy.com and even better she is also from Alabama.  I did find Brock one really neat present that I purchased at www.sofino.etsy.com.  She has these really great Merino wool items.

Expect to see new items coming at at the beginning of the year.  I will be taking a small break on orders until after January 1st.  I'm still playing catch up right now and want to get everything finished up before I start again.

The Official Launch of Carter 2 Campbell Blog

So excited that the blog is up and going!  I guess it's fitting that it's my birthday.  The site and I will share our birthday!  I think it looks great and many thanks to Lara at Designer Blogs for creating this for me!

From now on this blog will serve as my main showcase for all of my new clothing designs, sales and contests.

Don't forget that my items are also available through My Etsy Shop at www.carter2campbell.etsy.com.

I think this is going to be a great way to start a new year!
